?The labourer deserves his wages? springs to mind as I quickly write these few lines. While we, as Claretian Missionaries, don?t get wages, from time to time we do get a few days to recuperate from the works that we undertake, in our various ministries, around the world. This is a chance to recharge the batteries so that we can return with more energy, focus and enthusiasm.
In this vein Fr. Chris Newman cmf began his journey back home today from our Mission in Belize. He journeyed up from Dangriga to catch a flight from Belize Airport to Heathrow, London via Miami, USA. Fr. Chris hasn?t been back home for about a year now and is returning to have a well earned rest.
He hopes to incorparate time to visit each of our parishes in the UK as well as spending time with his family. He will also take the opportunity to join the rest of the Province for their annual retreat later in September.
During part of this time Fr. Martin Stone cmf will be helping Fr. Dominic McDonagh cmf in Belize. |
